Airbus C‑Suite
Strategic narrative, 3D film production and trade‑fair launch for a new seating concept
Shaping the Future of Premium Air Travel
A cinematic 3D showcase for the next-generation C-Suite concept by Airbus
Together with the Airbus Advanced Team, we developed a clear narrative and a fully 3D‑animated film that brings the new C‑Suite seating concept to life. The film premiered at Aircraft Interiors Expo (AIX) in Hamburg, presented alongside a full‑scale 1:1 model. The combined setup generated significant attention at the booth and is now also used on the Airbus website.
Initial situation
Turning Vision into Tangible Experience
Airbus is working on a new generation of sustainable, space‑efficient business‑class seating. The Advanced Team needed a precise, visually consistent representation of the design principles and functional ideas—long before multiple physical prototypes were available.
Challenge
Making Complexity Intuitive
The concept was modular, technically detailed and still evolving. The task was to shape a narrative that explains the core of the innovation: sustainable material choices, reduced structural complexity, improved spatial efficiency and new interaction surfaces.
At the same time, the film had to work on large‑scale trade‑fair screens as well as in digital environments.
Our approach
Strategic Storytelling Meets Engineering Precision
We developed a structured storyline together with Airbus, focusing on three central dimensions:
- sustainable architecture and materials
- efficient spatial layout and comfort logic
- intelligent functions and modularity
Based on this narrative, we produced a high‑fidelity 3D film that visualises the seat, its mechanics and its design rationale with clarity and technical precision.
Implementation
From CAD Data to Immersive Film
- 3D modelling & texturing: Full build of the seating system and all functional mechanisms.
- Look development: Clean, reduction‑focused visual language aligned with Airbus Cabin design principles.
- Animation: Sequential explanation of layout, space utilisation, sustainable materials and user interaction.
Film production: High‑resolution output for LED walls, on‑site displays and online integration.
Result
A Visual Centerpiece for Industry Dialogue
The film was shown at AIX in Hamburg in combination with the 1:1 model, supporting the Advanced Team in conversations with airlines, partners and media. It now serves as a digital asset for the Airbus website and internal presentations.
