How we transformed dense industry insights into a design language that persuades – politically, strategically, visually.
Aviation is under pressure: sustainability isn’t a nice-to-have anymore, it’s a mandate. But how do you communicate that shift with depth, not buzzwords?
The BDLI (German Aerospace Industries Association) asked us to develop, author, and design two strategic white papers. Our mission: craft a fresh narrative on Cabin & Cargo and Environmental Transparency – blending technological rigor with visual clarity.
THE CHALLENGE
EXPLAIN THE FUTURE, STAY REAL
For BDLI, everything’s at stake: policy decisions, industrial roadmaps, technological credibility. We had to distill research, industry data, and regulation into content that’s both understandable and strategically powerful. Two guiding questions drove us:
- How do you convey tech complexity with emotional clarity?
- How do you design white papers that don’t feel like government brochures?
THE IDEA
STRATEGIC STORYTELLING × VISUAL LIGHTNESS
Both papers follow an orchestrated storyline that gives facts meaning. Months of deep dives with experts—from Airbus, Recaro, Lufthansa Technik, Diehl, and more—fed an architecture that pulls readers through, chapter by chapter, insight by insight, never dumbing down, never overwhelming.
Visually, we kept it clear yet emotive: muted palettes, distilled infographics, elegant type.
